Account Access After Graduation

Whether you are approaching graduation or recently completed your degree program at Northeast Mississippi, you will find important information regarding your access to the various accounts and services provided by Northeast below. If you are getting authentication errors when trying to access services, you may need to perform a password reset on your NETid account and set a new password.

Continued Access for Active Affiliations

Graduates who maintain an active affiliation as a student, staff, or faculty will not lose access to essential services provided by Northeast.

Email

Students will retain access to their Northeast email account (@ tigers.nemcc.edu) for about six months after graduation. You should begin copying your data and updating any online services and correspondences to a personal email account.

MyNEMCC Portal

You can access your student records, transcripts, and other information via the MyNEMCC Portal indefinitely. However, certain features requiring an active student role, such as class registration, may be restricted.

Office 365 and VPN

Both services are only available to active students, staff, and faculty at Northeast and you can expect to lose access soon after you are no longer affiliated with the college as an activie student or employee. Be sure you take appropriate steps as soon as possible to copy or move any files stored in your Northeast Office 365 One Drive that you wish to keep.

Other IT Services

New graduates will be unable to log in to campus workstations such as computers found in any Lab spaces. It is your responsibility to ensure that any files or documents you would like to keep are moved out of any college provided file space or cloud service.
